Director of Association Management
Rob was first introduced to the association community in 2006 when he served as a legislative intern with Cook-Witter, Inc. After garnering experience in lobbying, communication, and member services for an active state health care association, Rob returned to Cook-Witter, Inc. in 2017 as Director of their Association Management Division.
In 2008, Rob worked as a key staff member in a hotly-contested and ultimately successful state legislative race. He then accepted a position as Director of Membership and Marketing with a major health care association and eventually transitioned to the position of chief lobbyist for the association. By focusing on his relationship and coalition-building skill set, he achieved many legislative victories on behalf of the association during his tenure.
Rob serves on the Executive Board for the Illinois Society of Association Executives (ISAE), the Board of the Springfield Art Association (SAA), and volunteers on several committees.
Holding a graduate degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Springfield and an Illinois State University undergraduate degree in arts and technology, Rob brings a background that uniquely fits the diverse and changeable needs of state association executives.
