Brian Wojcicki 

Chief Operating Officer

 

Brian was a legislative intern for Cook-Witter, Inc. in 2005 and after nearly a decade, he re-joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.

Brian’s years of experience in and around Illinois state government includes work for several state agencies and executive offices. After working as a legislative intern for Cook-Witter, Inc., Brian moved on to the Governor’s Office of Legislative Affairs before attending Chicago-Kent College of Law. 

While in law school, Brian worked in the General Counsel’s office for Central Management Services and after graduating, worked as an attorney in private practice for five years in Chicago, focusing on civil and administrative litigation in the areas of labor and employment law, insurance coverage and worker’s compensation defense.

In addition to lobbying with Cook-Witter, Inc., Brian continues to provide legal counsel through Whitt Law, LLC, and currently represents multiple national corporations and numerous school districts throughout the state.

Brian is also an active member of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA), and currently serves as legislative liaison for the CBA’s election law committee as well as being a member of the CBA’s main legislative committee.

Prior to law school, Brian received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Bradley University in Peoria. While at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Brian participated in the Labor and Employment Law Certificate Program and after graduating, served as an instructor of trial advocacy for a top ten nationally ranked law school program.
